This Saturday is New Zealand’s annual computer recycling event – eDay. Unwanted computers, computer related electronics, game consoles, fax machines and digital cameras can be dropped off at the two collection points for Nelson and Tasman:
- Enza, 484 Nayland Road, Stoke
- K & F McLean, 88 Hursthouse Street, Lower Moutere

Mary Curnow from the Nelson Environment Centre is organising this year’s event in Nelson. National organisers, the eDay New Zealand Trust, advocate for compulsory product stewardship and see eDay as an interim measure until this is in place.
