What is EcoFind?
Created in 2009, EcoFind is an online directory and community which showcases New Zealand businesses embracing sustainability and eco-friendly business practice.
These businesses are listed under three main categories: Green Products and Services, Eco Accommodation and Organic/Natural Food and Drink.

Am I listed on EcoFind?
Check if you are already listed on EcoFind by typing your business name in the search bar above.
How do I claim my listing?
If your business has already been listed by us, you can claim it by clicking on the ‘Claim & Update Listing’ link underneath your listing description.
How do I update my listing?
To update your listing, click on the ‘Update Listing’ link underneath your listing description. If you haven’t yet claimed your listing, this link will be called ‘Claim & Update Listing’.
Why should I choose a Standard or Premium listing plan?
Standard and Premium listings have a variety of special features designed to improve your online presence and click-through rate, including high-profile styling, priority placement above Basic listings on EcoFind pages and search results, custom SEO and an optional photo gallery and embedded video on your listing. How do I pay for my Standard or Premium listing?
Once your listing submission has been approved, we will email you an invoice along with a link to your listing so you can review and finalise. Payment is via internet banking. We will you send you an invoice every 12 months to renew your listing.
What is ‘Pay What You Want’ (PWYW) all about?
We’ve chosen not to clog up our site with 3rd party advertising over which we have limited control. However, like any website of this nature, we have costs to cover. We believe that the businesses who chose list on EcoFind embrace an enlightened approach to the economics of giving and receiving.
The PWYW option for Basic listings provides an opportunity for those businesses with a modest budget to support the work we promoting them and raising awareness about sustainability in NZ.
All contributions are welcome no matter how small!
How does EcoFind support the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary?
With roots in the Nelson region, we’re passionate about doing our part to encourage conservation and sustainability efforts in our community. We donate a portion of all listing income to the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary.

Who is the team behind EcoFind?
EcoFind is run by father-daughter team, Rob and Jess. Rob, a web developer, founded EcoFind in 2009 as a side project and now mainly deals with site development and maintenance. Jess came on board in 2017 to look after the administrative side of EcoFind. They come from a family that is passionate about the environment and are always searching for ways to lessen their footprint and live more sustainably.
Does EcoFind have a newsletter?
We are working on sending out a monthly ‘eco-digest’, which will promote new Standard and Premium listings as well as including articles and news on sustainable living and conservation efforts based both in NZ and further afield.

Is EcoFind a non-profit endeavour?
Yes, all income goes towards running costs and we donate a portion of all listing income to the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary.
