7-Day Straw Bale Home Design & Construction Workshop
11-18 February, Geraldine, South Canterbury

The goal of the 7-day intensive workshop is to give all participants a combination of classroom and hands-on sessions in order to understand straw bale construction systems, from foundation to finish plaster systems.

      Yes, we have a seven day workshop scheduled for 9-16th of March. Please visit our website at http://www.soldesing.co.nz

      One new thing that will be happening in the March workshop is sharing a brand new 'tilt up' wall system we have developed. This construction technique saves on labour and time as the wall is constructed and plastered lying flat and is then stood up! We will still be teaching the buck and beam system which is an infill system (hands on) and talking about hybrid load bearing as well as other structural systems.
