Sustainable 60 Awards

The finalists in the third annual Sustainable 60 Awards have been decided, with Auckland Airport in the running for six awards.

The company is closely followed by Beca, up for five awards, and Anguillid Consulting, Soar Printing and BNZ, in the running for four awards each.

The categories are strategy and governance, marketplace, workplace, environment and community – and the judges select a champion in the small, medium and large business awards.

Mark Revington, editor of Unlimited magazine, the programme’s leading publication, says the awards were started to encourage New Zealand companies to embrace sustainability across the board, not just see it as an add on.

“More New Zealand businesses are getting the idea of sustainability as a business driver,” he says.
