Globelet is a NZ-born social innovation company, founded in 2012. Their aim is to put an end to single-use plastic.
Globelet offer custom-made branded cups and integrated systems to festivals and events. This dramatically reduces waste by eliminating the need for disposable cups – running on a deposit system where customers pay a refundable deposit for a cup which is then returned at the end of the event. They have onsite and offsite washing systems available. Globelet’s products are 100% recyclable so if any are damaged during the event, they can simply be put in the recycling.

Globelet's founder Ryan Everton was an Otago University rugby game one day, and was inspired to take action after seeing the pile of cups that had gathered through the game. He then went on a mission to reduce single-use waste, and Globelet was born.
