In January of 2020 a new foraging map for Christchurch went live. This seems to have replaced the old Google map.

We have a group of round white top small mushrooms growing in our lawn. Never seen them before. Not interesting in eating them but want to be very careful as my sister has dogs that visit me. We are in Bromley/Woolston area of Christchurch. They have low stems and scattered not in a circle. They about the size of the ball on a shuttlecock. Give me a ring if you think you may know about them. We are considering fostering a puppy so dont want something bad in our garden.
Can we plant fruit trees in the redzone?
Is there a guide to doing this - tree spacing, underground keepout area, away from kerbs, etc.

Hi I was wondering if you are letting the public pick fruit from the red Zone This year
Thank you
There was a map online which had exactly where to find certain seasonal fruits etc. on this website, now I get a map but no index on where to go and what is there, HELP?
Hi Robin - you're right, looks like the map has disappeared.
Best bet may be to contact the group via their Facebook page - see above.
