Little River Campground – Retro Kiwi Camping, Banks Peninsula

Accommodation close to Akaroa on Banks Peninsula. A classic kiwi campground with river and native bush habitat. We have a covenant with The Banks Peninsula Conservation Trust which covers 5 hectares of ancient and regenerating bush. Cabins are available year round and there are plenty of spots for camping. Powered sites for campervans and house buses.

    we had a lovely stay here. nice and small camping area, so didn't get over-croweded. the kitchen facilities were great, and handy having 2 microwaves.
    Beautiful spot, with lots of birds singing, and great walkways up the hill, with beaut views.
    Also great that its dog friendly 🙂
    the only negative thing was we found it abit weird being charged $5 for the power, as weve found its normally included in the price per person/per site.
    However We'll definatley be back, as we loved the spot. 🙂
