They’re a great way to connect with your local community and environment, improve your neighbourhood and of course, grow fresh produce.
They tend to be owned and managed by local trusts and frequently are supported by local councils or organisations.
Ecofind maintains a list of Community Gardens which we try and keep up to date. It’s not an easy task as while there are some established Community Gardens, there tend to be quite a few smaller initiatives whose details tend to change over time.
Generally though, you’ll be able to discover your local Community Garden by chatting with people in the know or getting in touch with your local council.
