The Riverton Organic Food Co-op is a non-profit group run by volunteers enabling people to buy organic food at cost price and in doing so supporting natural and sustainable practices.
Based in the South Coast Environment Centre, 154 Palmerston St., Riverton, Southland’s cheapest organic food retailer celebrated 20 years of operation in 2011!
We only sell Organic Food, grown naturally without chemicals (All GE Free). Our policy is to get the best quality of certification as local as possible.
The Centre is open from:
Monday – Saturday. 10am – 4.30pm
Sunday. 1.30pm – 4.30pmy
Late night Thursdays until 7pm but this is dependent on volunteers
We sell:
- Fruit & Vegetables
- Dairy products
- Chicken & meat
- Dried fruit and nuts
- Beans, lentils, seeds
- Flours and Grains
- eco friendly household products

Have just heard on the NewsTalk ZB radio station that there is somewhere in Riverton that is selling instructions for cleaning with natural products and the cost for the piece of paper is 50 cents Would you know where we can access a website or an email address to do this Kind regards Maureen
there is a company called Enjo...its a fibre system and you just use water....is that what you mean?
